Pattern Notes:

Instructions for Making the Flower Pop Square Pattern:

Round 1 (R1):

Create a magic ring (MR).
Into the ring, work 3 double crochets (dc), chain 3 (ch 3), repeat this 4 times total.
This forms 4 shells separated by chain-3 spaces. Close with a slip stitch (sl st) to the first dc.
Stitch count: 12 dc, 4 chain-3 spaces.

Round 2 (R2):

Chain 1 (does not count as a stitch).
In the next 3 dc, work 1 single crochet (sc) each.
In each chain-3 space from R1, work a corner: (2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc).
Repeat around 4 times.
Close with sl st to the first sc.
Stitch count: 28 sc, 4 chain-2 spaces.

Round 3 (R3):

Slip stitch into the next sc (on top of the second dc from round 1).
In the same sc, work a 5-dc shell (5 dc in the same stitch), skip 2 sc, sc in the next sc, in the ch-2 space work (sc, ch 2, sc), sc in next sc, skip 2 sc.
