- (Puff st in next st, ch 2, puff st in same st) – this forms one Pom-Pom cluster. Sc in next 5 sts. Repeat from to around edge, spacing clusters evenly. In corners, you can place one Pom-Pom Cluster into the middle sc of the 3-corner sc group. Sl st to first sc to join. Fasten off.
Finishing

- Weave in all ends with a yarn needle.
- Block the border lightly to enhance the pom-pom definition.
- If using for blankets or garments, steam blocking is recommended to smooth out curves and set stitches.
Customization Tips
- For bigger pom-poms: use 5 or 6 loops in the puff stitch.
- For closer pom-poms: reduce the number of sc between clusters to 3 or 4.
- Use contrasting yarn for a colorful edge.
