Stitching Instructions for Making the Puff Edging Free Pattern:
Start the SC Round:

- Start with a single crochet (SC) round around the edge of your project. Work 3 SC in each corner. If the center stitch lines up, work 1 puff stitch; if not, work 2 puff stitches in the corner.
Making the Puff Stitch:

- YO and insert hook into the stitch.
- Pull up a loop.
- YO again, pull up another loop.
- YO again, pull up another loop (you should have 4 loops on the hook).
- YO and pull through all loops (7 loops total).
Work Puff Stitches Around the Border:

- Work a puff stitch into each stitch around the border. For the corners, work 2 puff stitches in the same stitch if needed, depending on how your stitches line up.
Finishing the Round:

- Finish the round by working a puff stitch into the first stitch, then sl st into the top of the first HDC to join.
Weave in Ends:

- Weave in ends with a yarn needle.
