Round 1: Begin by making a magic ring. Into the ring, work 6 single crochet (sc) stitches. Tighten the ring to close. (6 stitches in total)
Round 2: Work 2 single crochet in each stitch (increase) around. (12 stitches in total)
Round 3: Alternate 1 single crochet, then an increase (2 single crochet in the same stitch) around the round. (18 stitches in total)
Round 4: Work 2 single crochet in consecutive stitches, followed by an increase (2 sc in the same stitch) and repeat around. (24 stitches in total)
Rounds 5-10: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around for 6 rounds to build height. (24 stitches per round)
Round 11: Alternate 2 single crochet, then a decrease (combine 2 stitches into 1) around the round. (18 stitches in total)
Round 12: Alternate 1 single crochet, then a decrease around the round. (12 stitches in total)
Round 13: Work a decrease in every stitch around to close the bottom of the body. (6 stitches in total)
Fasten off (FO): Leave a long tail of yarn for sewing later.

Round 2: Work 2 single crochet in each stitch (increase) around. (12 stitches in total)

Round 1: Start with a magic ring. Work 5 single crochet stitches into the ring. Tighten to close. (5 stitches in total)
Rounds 2-8: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around for 7 rounds to form a long tail. (5 stitches per round)
Fasten off (FO): Leave a tail of yarn for sewing the tail onto the body.

Attach the Head to the Body: Use the long tail from the head to sew it securely onto the top of the body. Use neat, even stitches for a clean finish.
Attach the Ears to the Head: Position the ears symmetrically on the top of the head. Sew them in place with the tails left from the ears.
Attach the Tail to the Body: Secure the tail to the back of the body using the tail left from stitching the tail.
Add Safety Eyes: Place the safety eyes evenly on the head, approximately between Rounds 6 and 7 of the head. Use 12 mm to 15 mm safety eyes for the best look.
Add a Nose (Optional): You can use an 8 mm safety nose or embroider a small triangular nose with black yarn or thread.
Embroider Whiskers: Use black embroidery thread to create whiskers and any additional facial features to give your kitty personality.
