Stitching Instructions for Nya Mosaic Blanket Pattern:
Starting the Blanket:
- Foundation Chain: Ch [insert number of chains here] (this will form the base of your blanket). Turn your work.
- Row 1: Sk the first ch, then dc into each st across the row. When you reach the end of the row, turn your work.
- Row 2: Ch 2 (this counts as the first dc). Dc into each st across the row. Turn your work.
Creating the Mosaic Design:
Note: The pattern alternates between the main color and accent color, creating a mosaic effect.
- Row 3 (Main Color): Ch 2 (counts as dc). Work a Cluster in the next stitch (yo, insert hook into st, pull up a loop, repeat 3 times, yo, pull through all loops). Sk the next stitch. V-Stitch in the next stitch (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc into the same st).
Continue alternating the Cluster and V-Stitch, skipping 1 stitch between each. End the row with a Cluster, turn your work.
- Row 4 (Accent Color): Ch 2 (counts as dc). Work a Shell in the next space (work 5 dc into the same sp).
Sk the next stitch. V-Stitch in the next stitch (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc into the same st). Repeat the sequence to the end of the row, ending with a Shell. Turn your work.
Repeating the Rows:
- Row 5 (Main Color): Ch 2 (counts as dc). Cluster in the next stitch, sk the next stitch. V-Stitch in the next stitch, repeat the sequence to the end of the row. Turn your work.

Finishing the Blanket:
Once you’ve reached the desired length for your Nya Mosaic Blanket, finish with a final row of sc (single crochet) around the entire blanket to give it a clean edge.
- Final Row (Sc Edging): Ch 1 (does not count as a st), sc in each st across, placing 3 sc in the corners for smooth turning.
Continue until you’ve worked around the entire blanket. Sl st to the first sc to close the round. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends using your tapestry needle.
