- Hooks: 3.25mm for the main body, 2.75mm for the starfish, 1.50mm for the starfish amigurumi
- Stuffing: For body parts like arms, fins, etc.
- Tapestry needle: For sewing parts together
- Black thread: For eyes
- Additional: Purple cotton yarn for the starfish, seashell trim

Mermaid Body
- Round 1: Using the 3.25mm hook and Dark Mint yarn, MR, ch 1, and work 6 sc into the ring (6 sc).
- Round 2: Inc in each st around (12 sc).
- Round 3: Sc in the next st, inc in the next st, repeat around (18 sc).
- Round 4: Sc in the next 2 sts, inc in the next st, repeat around (24 sc).
- Round 5: Sc in the next 3 sts, inc in the next st, repeat around (30 sc).
- Rounds 6-12: Sc in each st around (30 sc) for 7 rounds.
- Round 13: Sc in the next 3 sts, dec in the next st, repeat around (24 sc).
- Round 14: Sc in the next 2 sts, dec in the next st, repeat around (18 sc).
- Round 15: Sc in the next st, dec in the next st, repeat around (12 sc).

Starfish Amigurumi (1.50mm hook)
- Round 1: Using Purple Cotton yarn, MR, ch 1, and work 6 sc into the ring (6 sc).
- Round 2: Inc in each st around (12 sc).
- Round 3: Sc in the next st, inc in the next st, repeat around (18 sc).
- Round 4: Sc in the next 2 sts, inc in the next st, repeat around (24 sc).
- Round 5: Sc in each st around (24 sc). Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Seashell Trim (Optional)
- Round 1: Using Light Coral yarn, MR, ch 1, and work 6 sc into the ring (6 sc).
- Round 2: Sc in the next st, inc in the next st, repeat around (9 sc).
- Round 3: Sc in the next 2 sts, inc in the next st, repeat around (12 sc).
- Round 4: Sc in each st around for a decorative trim. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Assembly
- Sew the arms, fins, and head to the body using the tapestry needle and the long tails left during the finishing of each part.
- Add the starfish and seashell trim to enhance the mermaid’s look.
- Embroider eyes using black thread.
Once all the parts are stitched together, your ragdoll mermaid is ready!
