Sleepy Sarah Amigarumi

Materials Needed & Measurements:

  • Worsted weight yarn in a flesh color & reddish pink
  • Size G/4.5mm crochet hook
  • Locking stitch markers
  • Yarn & embroidery needles
  • DMC Embroidery floss in DK Cranberry (601) & Black (310)
  • Poly-fil/Wool roving to stuff the doll
  • Hook Size: Size G/4.5mm crochet hook.
  • Pattern Measurements: The finished doll will be approximately 6 inches tall.
  • Needle: Yarn needle for finishing off the doll (sewing the pieces together).

  • Round 18: In this round, work [sc in the next 2 sts, sc2tog] 5 times. This is the beginning of shaping the top of the head.

  • Round 19: Work [sc in the next st, sc2tog] 5 times.
    • Stitches at the end of round: 10 sts.

Final Steps:

  • Stuff the head with poly-fil or wool roving tightly to give it shape.
  • Using a yarn needle, close up the hole by stitching across the opening. Weave in the remaining yarn securely to finish off the head.
