- Crochet Hook: Size E (3.5 mm).
Measurements:
- Gauge: 6 1/2 single crochets = 1 inch.
- Size: Each placemat measures 14 inches in diameter.

Stitching Instructions for Making the Granny Circle Placemats Pattern:
Round 1:
- With the Main Color, ch 3 into an adjustable loop (refer to an adjustable loop tutorial for guidance).
- Work 1 dc into the loop, then (ch 1, 2 dc) 5 times.
- Ch 1, join to the third ch of the beginning ch with a sl st.
Round 2:
- Make 1 sl st into the next st and 1 sl st into the first sp.
- Ch 3, 1 dc into the same sp, ch 1, 2 dc into the same sp.
- Repeat (ch 1, 2 dc into the next sp, ch 1, 2 dc into the same sp) around.
- Join to the third ch of the beginning ch with a sl st.

Trim:
- Using a Contrast Color, join in any st or sp, and ch 2.
- Work 1 half double crochet (hdc) into each st and sp around the edge of the placemat.
- Join to the second ch of the beginning ch with a sl st.
- Cut the yarn and pull it through the last st to finish.
Repeat for three more placemats to complete the set!
