Assembly Process
Folding and Preparing
- Fold the completed crochet piece in half with the right sides facing each other.
- Align the beginning and ending rows to ensure even edges.
Sewing the Edges
- Using a yarn needle and the long yarn tail left from finishing, sew along two of the open edges to secure them together.
- Leave one edge open for stuffing.
Turning the Pillow
- Turn the pillow right side out so that the outer crochet stitches are visible.
Adding Stuffing
- Insert pillow stuffing or a pillow form through the open edge.
- Ensure the stuffing is evenly distributed for a smooth, plump pillow appearance.
Closing the Final Edge
- With the remaining yarn tail and yarn needle, sew the last open edge closed.
- Weave in any remaining yarn ends to complete.
Optional Additions
Adding a Lining (Optional)
- If desired, cut a piece of fabric slightly smaller than the crochet pillow dimensions.
- Attach this lining to the inside of the pillow to prevent stuffing from showing through any open weave areas.
- Sew the lining to the wrong side of the crochet piece before folding.
Attaching Pom-Poms (Optional)
- Make four pom-poms using the same yarn as the pillow.
- Attach one pom-pom securely to each corner of the pillow.
