Stitching Rounds:
1. Crochet Round One
Using the main color yarn, make a magic ring and secure with a stitch. Chain 3 (counting as one dc), then crochet 11 double crochets in the ring. Pull the ring closed. Connect with a slip stitch in the third chain of the first ch 3.
2. Crochet Round Two
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work another dc in the same stitch, then work 2 dc in each stitch around. Attach with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
3. Crochet Round Three
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work 2 dc in the next stitch, then 1 dc, 2 dc around. Join with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
4. Crochet Round Four
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), chain 2, skip a stitch, then 1 dc, ch 2, sk 1 st around. Fasten with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
5. Crochet Round Five
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work 2 dc in the ch 2 space, work 1 dc in the underlying dc, then inc, 1 dc in dc around. Add with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
6. Crochet Round Six
Change color. Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work 1 dc in the next stitch, work 2 dc in the next stitch, then 2 dc, inc around. Connect with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
7. Crochet Round Seven
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), chain 2, skip a stitch, then 1 dc, ch 2, sk 1 st around. Pair with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
8. Crochet Round Eight

12. Crochet Round Twelve
Change color. Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work 1 dc in the next stitch, then 1 dc around. Tie with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
13. Crochet Round Thirteen
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), chain 2, skip a stitch, then 1 dc, ch 2, sk 1 st around. Connect with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
14. Crochet Round Fourteen
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work 1 dc in ch 2 space, work 1 dc in underlying dc, work 2 dc in the ch 2 space, then 1 dc in dc, 1 dc in ch 2 sp, 1 dc in dc, inc around. Relate with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
15. Crochet Round Fifteen
Change color. Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work 1 dc in the next stitch, then 1 dc around. Link with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
16. Crochet Round Sixteen
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), chain 2, skip a stitch, then 1 dc, ch 2, sk 1 st around. Merge with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
17. Crochet Round Seventeen
Chain 3 (counting as 1 dc), work 1 dc in ch 2 space, work 1 dc in underlying dc, work 1 dc in ch 2 space, work 1 dc in underlying dc, work 2 dc in the ch 2 space, then 1 dc in dc, 1 dc in ch 2 sp, 1 dc in dc, 1 dc in ch 2 sp, 1 dc in dc, inc around. Join with a slip stitch in the top ch of the starting ch 3.
18. Crochet Round Eighteen
Chain 1, work a sc in the same stitch, skip two stitches, work 6 dc in the next stitch, skip two stitches, then 1 sc, sk 2 st, 6 dc, sk 2 st around. Connect with a slip stitch in the first sc of the round. Fasten off.
19. Finish the Rug
Flip over your rug and using your large darning needle, sew in all the ends. You can easily do this by weaving the tails under the dc’s of the rounds. Cut the yarn ends after you’ve sewn them in, and turn your rug back over.
