- Hook: US I/9 (5.5 mm) Crochet Hook
- Yarn Needle for weaving in ends

Pattern Measurements:
- Gauge: 4” x 4” swatch = 14 hdc x 11 rows
- After completing Row 6,3 3/8” in diameter.
- Finished bottle carrier should fit a typical 16.9 fl oz water bottle loosely and a slightly larger bottle snugly.

- (ch): Chain
- (sc): Single crochet
- (hdc): Half double crochet
- (dc): Double crochet
- (sl st): Slip stitch
Instructions for Making A Peek-A-Boo Water Bottle Carrier Pattern:
Make Base of the Carrier:
- Row 1: Chain 2. Make 6 sc in the second chain from the hook. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (6 stitches)
- Row 2: Chain 1. Work 2 sc in each stitch around. Join with a sl st. (12 stitches)
- Row 3: Chain 1. 1 sc in the first stitch, 2 sc in the next. Repeat from to around. Join with a sl st. (18 stitches)
- Row 4: Chain 1. 1 sc in each of the next 2 stitches, then 2 sc in the next stitch. Repeat from to around. Join with a sl st. (24 stitches)
- Row 5: Chain 1. 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches, then 2 sc in the next stitch. Repeat from to around. Join with a sl st. (30 stitches)
- Row 6: Chain 1. 1 sc in each of the next 4 stitches, then 2 sc in the next stitch. Repeat from to around. Join with a sl st. (36 stitches)
At this point, check that your base diameter is approximately 3 3/8”. Adjust hook size if needed.
Work on the Sides:
- Row 7: Chain 1. Hdc in the back loop only of each stitch around. Join with a sl st. (36 stitches)
- Row 8: Chain 1. Hdc in the 3rd loop only of each stitch around. Join with a sl st. (36 stitches)
- Row 9: Repeat Row 8. (36 stitches)
- Row 10: Chain 1. Sc in the first stitch, dc in the next. Repeat from to around. Join with a sl st. (36 stitches)
- Row 11: Chain 1. Dc in the first stitch, sc in the next. Repeat from to around. Join with a sl st. (36 stitches)
- Row 12: Chain 1. Repeat Row 10. (36 stitches)
- Row 13: Chain 1. Repeat Row 11. (36 stitches)
- Row 14: Chain 1. Hdc in the first stitch, dc in the next. Repeat from to around. Join with a sl st. (36 stitches)
Repeat the Pattern:
- Rows 15-21: Repeat Rows 8-14.
- Rows 22-28: Repeat Rows 8-14 again.
- Rows 29-30: Repeat Rows 8-9.
- Row 31: Chain 1. Hdc in the 3rd loop only around. Join with a sl st. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Create the Strap:
- Step 1: Chain 151.
- Row 1: Hdc in the 2nd chain from the hook and each chain across. (150 stitches)
- Row 2: Chain 1. Turn. Sc in the first stitch, dc in the next. Repeat from to across. (150 stitches)
- Row 3: Chain 1. Turn. Dc in the first stitch, sc in the next. Repeat from to across. (150 stitches)
- Row 4: Chain 1. Turn. Hdc in each stitch across. (150 stitches) Fasten off and leave a long tail.
Attach the Strap:
- Position one end of the strap about an inch inside the bottle holder. Line it up with three rows from the top edge of the carrier.
- Using the long tail, securely sew the strap to the inside of the holder with a yarn needle. Tie a knot and weave in the end.
- Attach the other end of the strap on the opposite side of the carrier in the same manner.
Now your Peek-A-Boo Water Bottle Carrier is complete!
