Stitching Instructions for Making the Mini Heart Edging Pattern:
Foundation Row:

- With Scheepjes Catona and 2.5 mm hook, ch a multiple of 4 + 1 (e.g., 21, 25, 29 depending on your desired length).
- Row 1 (Base): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (Example: 21 chains = 20 sc)

- Row 2 (Heart Edging):

- Ch 1, sc in first st.
- Skip next st, in next st: (3 dc, ch 1, tr, ch 1, 3 dc) – all in the same st. Skip next st, sc in next st.
- Repeat from to across the row.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
Finishing Instructions:

- Block the edging gently to shape the hearts if necessary.
- If worked separately, use matching yarn to sew or slip stitch it along your project’s edge.
- For corners (like blankets), you can modify the heart cluster by adding 1-2 more dc/tr to fan it wider or slightly curve around the turn.
Customization Tips:
- Smaller Hearts: Use fingering weight yarn and a 2 mm hook.
- Bigger Hearts: Use worsted weight yarn and a 4 mm hook, increasing the number of dc/tr in the cluster (e.g., 4 dc, ch 1, 2 tr, ch 1, 4 dc).
- Color Pop: Change yarn color every few hearts for a multicolored effect.
