Row 9 (Repeat with Color Changes):
- Continue to work across, changing colors according to the pattern.
- Each color change should alternate between dc and sc rows, using the specified colors from the chart.
Pattern Notes:
- Always work 3 dc into the turning stitches at the end of each row.
- Be sure to weave in your yarn ends using a tapestry needle to keep your work neat and finished.
- Make sure that the RS (right side) is facing you as you work on each row.
- WS (wrong side) will be visible when you are working on the reverse side.
Creating the Final Shawl:
- Continue working the rounds until the shawl reaches the desired size, maintaining the color pattern throughout.
- Once the shawl is large enough, finish the last row, and make sure to block the shawl to help it reach the final measurements of approximately 162 cm (63.8 inches) wide and 80 cm (31.5 inches) high.
Blocking and Final Touches:
- Gently block the shawl to the desired size by pinning it into shape and lightly steaming or wetting it.
- Let it dry completely before wearing.
