Optional Closure

  • Crochet Button: Ch 5, join to form ring. Ch 1, 11 sc into ring, sl st to join. Fasten off with a 12″ tail to sew onto the purse.

Add Fringe (Optional)

Wrap yarn around a book (8-9” tall), cut at one end to create equal fringe strands. Insert hook top-down into a dc stitch near the purse bottom.

Fold 7 strands in half, pull loop through stitch, draw ends through loop to knot. Repeat in every other dc around the bottom. Trim evenly.
