Making the Drawstring
- Cut 9 pieces of yarn (in any combination of colors) approximately 55–60″ in length each.
- Make a knot on one end, keeping at least 2–3″ of fringe (or your desired length) on the short end.
- Secure the knotted end (e.g., place it under a heavy object).
- Divide the yarn so you have groups of 3 strands and braid the yarn all the way down.
- Knot the other end.
- Feed the drawstring through the ch 2 spaces created on Rnd 57.
- Trim the fringe as needed.
- Weave in all remaining ends.
