This forms the main shape of Pusheen. Work continuously in rounds without joining unless specified.
- R1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6).
- R2: 2 sc in each st around (12).
- R3: sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, rep ** around (18).
- R4: sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next st, rep ** around (24).

Assembling Pusheen
- Ears: Sew ears on the head, starting at the end of R3 and spanning to R8.
- Eyes: Attach flat-back beads or safety eyes between R10 and R11.
- Mouth & Whiskers:
- Using black embroidery thread, stitch an inverted “V” for the mouth below the eyes.
- Add a small horizontal line above the inverted “V.”
- Stitch three whiskers on each side of the face, spaced one stitch apart.
- Legs:
- Attach forelegs at R14–15 on each side.
- Attach hind legs at R20–21 at a slight angle for a seated position.
- Tail: Attach the tail at the back, between R21 and R22.
Optional Details
- Use lavender yarn to embroider stripes:
- Head: Three stripes from R2 to R6.
- Body: Two side stripes at R15 and R17.
