Stitch Instructions
Round 1:

- Begin with a magic ring to create a flexible starting point.
- Chain 4 (this counts as 1 dc + ch 1), then work 1 dc in the ring followed by ch 1.
- Repeat [1 dc, ch 1] a total of 7 more times. You should have 8 dc, each separated by a ch 1.
- Add your round with a sl st in the 3rd chain of the starting ch-4 to close it.
Round 2:

- Sl st into the next ch-1 space to position your hook for the next round.
- In that ch-1 space, work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) to create a corner.
- Repeat this sequence in each ch-1 space around.
- Join with a sl st to the top of the first dc, completing the round.
Round 3:

- Chain 3 (this counts as your first dc).
- Work 1 dc in each dc around, and in each ch-1 corner space, work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc).
- Continue to dc in each stitch until you reach the next corner.
- Faten with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-3.
Round 4:

- Chain 4 (counts as 1 dc + ch 1).
- Work 1 dc in the next dc, ch 1; repeat this until the end of the round.
- Attach with a sl st in the 3rd chain of the starting ch-4.
Round 5:

- Sl st into the next ch-1 space to transition smoothly into the next section.
- Work 3 dc in that ch-1 space, then skip the next dc; repeat this pattern around.
- Connect with a sl st to the first dc to close the round.
Round 6:

- Chain 3, then dc in each dc around.
- For each corner, work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) to create an open, rounded corner.
- Continue this pattern around and join with a sl st at the top of the starting ch-3.
Round 7:

- Chain 3, then work 2 dc in the next stitch, followed by 1 dc in each of the next 2 stitches.
- In each corner space, work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) to maintain the shape.
- Continue around and join with a sl st to close.
Round 8:

- Chain 4 (counts as 1 dc + ch 1).
- Work 1 dc in the next dc, then ch 1; repeat this until you reach the next corner.
- For each corner, work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) to create the rounded effect.
- Continue around and join with a sl st to finish the round.
Round 9:

- Sl st into the next ch-1 space to get ready for the next set of stitches.
- Work 3 dc in the ch-1 space, then skip the next dc; repeat this pattern around.
- Join with a sl st to the first dc.
Round 10:

- Chain 3 and dc in each dc around to create a solid round.
- At each corner, work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) for that beautiful corner finish.
- Continue around and join with a sl st to complete the project.
