Stitching Instructions for Making the Linen Stitch Border Pattern:
Abbreviations Used:

- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- sl st – slip stitch
- st(s) – stitch(es)
Round 1:

- Join yarn in any corner space.
- Ch 1, (sc, ch 1, sc) in same corner st. Ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 space; repeat from * around.
- In each corner, work (sc, ch 1, sc) in the same st.
- At the end, ch 1, skip last sc, sl st to top of 1st sc to join.
- Fasten off if changing color, or sl st into the next ch-1 space to continue.
Round 2:

- Join new color (or continue with same yarn) in any corner ch-1 space. Ch 1, (sc, ch 1, sc) in the corner ch-1 space.
