Stitching Instructions for Making the Bernat Bobble and Fringe Crochet Pillow Pattern:

- 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
- 1 sc in each ch across the row.

- Ch 1 (to start the next row).
- 1 sc in the first st.
- 1 tr in the next st, 1 sc in the next st.

- This row creates the bobble texture using the tr sts (treble crochet).
- Row 3:
- Ch 1.
- 1 sc in each st across the row.
- Turn the work.
- This row returns to simple sc stitches, setting the foundation for the next bobble row.

- Ch 1.
- 1 sc in the first st.

- This row adds more texture with bobbles created by the tr stitches.
- Rows 7-17:
- Ch 1 to start each row.
- 1 sc in each st across the row.
- Turn the work.
- These rows use only single crochet to give a solid fabric between the textured bobble rows.
- Repeat Sequence:

- Fasten off the yarn after completing the pattern.

- Sl st in the next sc, draw up a loop about 10″ [25.5 cm] long, twist the loop 25 times, then sl st in the same sc to form a twisted loop coil.
- Rep * to end of the row to create the fringe effect.

- 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
- 1 sc in each ch across.

- Turn the work.
- Repeat Row 1:
- Rep Row 1 until the side panel measures 11″ [28 cm] from the marker.

Finishing
- Assembling the Pillow: Sew the fringe strips to the front of the pillow, positioning them below the 1st and 2nd textured areas, as shown in the photo of the pattern.
- Attaching the Back Pieces: Overlap the two back pieces, aligning the ribbed sections at the center to create an opening for the pillow form to be inserted.
- Sewing the Outer Edges: Sew the outer edges of the pillow together to secure the front and back, leaving the center open for the pillow form.
- Insert the Pillow Form: Insert a 20″ [51 cm] square pillow form into the opening.
