- Yarn: Light worsted or medium weight
- Bunny: Main color (such as soft gray, pastel pink, or white)
- Blanket: Accent color (choose a neutral or pastel shade)
- Crochet Hook: Size H/8 (5mm)

- Yarn Needle: For weaving in ends

Stitching Instructions for Making Bunny Blanket Buddy Pattern:
Bunny Head (Make 1):
- Magic Ring: Ch 2, then work 6 sc into the ring. (6 sts)
- Round 1: Inc in each stitch around. (12 sts)
- Round 2: Sc in the next stitch, inc in the next stitch repeat around. (18 sts)
- Round 3: Sc in the next 2 stitches, inc in the next stitch repeat around. (24 sts)
- Round 4-7: Sc in each stitch around. (24 sts)
- Round 8: Sc in the next 2 stitches, dec in the next stitch repeat around. (18 sts)
- Round 9: Sc in the next stitch, dec in the next stitch repeat around. (12 sts)
- Round 10: Dec in each stitch around. (6 sts)
- Stuff the head with polyester stuffing.
- Finish: Sl st to close and leave a long tail for attaching the head to the blanket.
Bunny Ears (Make 2):
- Ch 6.
- Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each stitch across. (5 sts)
- Row 2-7: Ch 1, turn, sc in each stitch across. (5 sts)
- Round 8: Ch 1, sc in each stitch across (including the other side). Fasten off and leave a long tail for attaching.
- Attach the ears to the top of the bunny head.
Bunny Body (Optional, make 1):
- Magic Ring: Ch 2, then work 6 sc into the ring. (6 sts)
- Round 1: Inc in each stitch around. (12 sts)
- Round 2: Sc in the next stitch, inc in the next stitch repeat around. (18 sts)
- Round 3-4: Sc in each stitch around. (18 sts)
- Round 5: Sc in the next stitch, dec in the next stitch repeat around. (12 sts)
- Finish: Sl st to close, leaving a long tail for attaching.
Attaching the Bunny to the Blanket:
- Lay the 24” x 24” fabric on a flat surface.
- Position the bunny’s head in one corner of the blanket, ensuring that it’s centered if desired.
- Attach the bunny’s head securely to the fabric by sewing the base of the head to the blanket using a yarn needle.
- Optionally, add a small button or safety eyes to the bunny’s head.
- Optional finishing touch: Add a small tail or decorative embellishment to the bunny’s body.
Blanket Edging (Optional):
- To add a soft edge to the blanket, use the accent yarn:
- Attach yarn to any corner of the blanket.
- Work sc around the entire edge, adding 3 sc in each corner.
- Finish off and weave in ends.
