  • sc = single crochet

Stitching Instructions for Making Crochet Easter Basket Pattern:

Basket Base:

  • Rnd 14: Dec around until 6 sts remain.

Basket Sides:

  • Rnd 1: Attach yarn to any base stitch. Ch 1, sc in each stitch around. (36 sc)
  • Rnd 2-9: Continue with sc in each stitch for 8 more rounds. (36 sc)
  • Finish off and weave in the loose ends.

Handle (Optional):

  • Take two green pipe cleaners and twist them together. Shape into a “U” or “V” to form the handle.
  • Attach the handle to the basket’s sides by sewing it in place with yarn or whip stitching.
  • For extra strength, crochet around the pipe cleaners: Attach yarn and work sc around the pipe cleaners, then secure.

Flower (Optional):
