- Repeat Round 5 for a total of 9 more rounds or until the cover measures about 4” in height.
Round 15:

- ch 1.
- Work Reverse sc (also known as crab stitch) around the entire edge.
- Reverse sc: Insert hook into the next stitch from back to front, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over again and pull through both loops on hook.
- Join with a slst to the first reverse sc to close the round.
- Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Once you’ve completed the rounds and fastened off, your Julie Basket Pot Cover is finished!
Important Notes:
- Magic Circle: Begin by wrapping the yarn around your fingers to form a circle. Insert your hook through the loop, yarn over, and pull up a loop to begin crocheting in the circle.
- BLO: In this pattern, the back loop is used for added texture and to create a sturdy fabric for the basket. Instead of working through both loops, only work through the loop farthest from you.
- Reverse sc (Crab Stitch): This stitch creates a clean, decorative edging, adding a nice finish to the pot cover.
