Stitching Instructions for Making the Ray of Sunshine – Coaster and Mandala Pattern:
Coaster Instructions (Rounds 1–6):
- Round 1:
- Begin with a magic ring.
- Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet), then make 11 more double crochets into the ring.
- Join with a slip stitch into the top of the chain 3. (Total: 12 double crochets)
- Round 2:
- Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet), then double crochet in the next stitch.
- Make 2 double crochets in the next stitch.
- Repeat around, ending with a slip stitch into the top of the chain 3. (Total: 18 double crochets)
