  • Hook Size: 3.0 mm (US steel hook size D-3)
  • Yardage: 20 – 120 yards (18 – 110 m)

Finished Measurements:

  • Coaster: Approximately 6 rounds
  • Mandala: If you complete up to round 12, the mandala will measure 15 inches (38 cm) across.

Stitching Instructions for Making the Ray of Sunshine – Coaster and Mandala Pattern:

Coaster Instructions (Rounds 1–6):

  • Round 1:
    • Begin with a magic ring.
    • Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet), then make 11 more double crochets into the ring.
    • Join with a slip stitch into the top of the chain 3. (Total: 12 double crochets)
  • Round 2:
    • Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet), then double crochet in the next stitch.
    • Make 2 double crochets in the next stitch.
