- Magic Loop: Start by creating a magic loop.

- Round 28: Sc around the entire round. Repeat until the work measures 8”/20cm for the small basket or 12”/30.5cm for the large basket from the base.
Handle:
- Handle Round 1: Ch 25, sk 5, sc around the entire round.
- Handle Round 2: Sl st into each ch of the handle, sc around to the last st just before the handle, and sl st into the last st.
- Rejoin Yarn: Break yarn and rejoin at the top edge into the first st skipped for the interior of the handle.
- Handle Round 3: Ch 1 and sc across the edge to the handle. Sl st in the back of each ch of the handle, then sl st to the first sc to join.
Finishing:
- Secure the yarn and weave in all ends using a tapestry needle.
