    • To close the rnd, sl st into the first sc.
  • Rounds 2–4 (Ribbing):
    • Begin creating a ribbed texture.
    • Ch 2, alternate fpdc and bpdc in each stitch around.
    • Repeat for 3 rounds or until the desired ribbing height is achieved.
    • Join each round with a sl st to the top of the starting ch 2.

Main Top Body:

  • Continue working in rounds until the top reaches the desired height (refer to measurements).

    • Sl st into the first sc to join the rnd.
  • Increase for Flare:
    • Ch 2, begin working dc stitches in each st, increasing for flare:
      • Work 2 dc in every 4th st to gradually add fullness.
    • Join each round with a sl st to the top of the starting ch 2.
  • Main Skirt Rounds:
    • Continue working dc in each st around until the skirt reaches the desired length (refer to measurements).
    • Adjust the flare as needed by adding more increases every few rounds.
  • Hem Ribbing:
    • For the final few rounds, create a ribbed edge:
      • Ch 2, alternate fpdc and bpdc stitches around.
    • Repeat for 3 rounds.
  • Finish: Fasten off and weave in all loose ends.
