Stitching Instructions for Making the Boho Baby Crochet Sandals Pattern:

Step 1: Sole

• (Use Rico Creative Cotton Aran in Color Clay)
• Round 1:
  • Ch 11 (0–6 months) or Ch 13 (6–12 months).
  • Work 1 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook.
  • Hdc in the next 8 (0–6 months) or 10 (6–12 months) chs.
  • In the last ch, work 5 hdc.
  • Rotate the work to crochet along the opposite side of the foundation chain.
  • Hdc in the next 8 (0–6 months) or 10 (6–12 months) chs.
  • Work 5 hdc in the last st.
  • Ss to the first hdc to close the round. (Total: 28 sts for 0–6 months; 32 sts for 6–12 months)
• Round 2:
  • Ch 1.
  • Work 1 hdc in each of the next 10 sts.
  • Work 2 hdc in each of the next 5 sts (curve).

• Step 2: Upper Part

• (Use Rico Creative Cotton Aran in Color Nature)
• Front Straps:
  • Attach yarn at the 10th stitch from the right side of the sole.
  • Ch 8, skip 8 sts on the sole, and ss to the next st to form the first strap.
  • Fasten off.
  • Reattach yarn to the 10th st from the left side of the sole.
  • Ch 8, skip 8 sts on the sole, and ss to the next st to form the second strap.
  • Fasten off.
• Ankle Straps:
  • Attach yarn at the back of the sole (centered at the heel).
  • Ch 15, ss to secure at the opposite side of the heel for the buttonhole strap.
  • Fasten off.
  • Repeat on the other side for symmetry.
• Step 3: Decoration
• (Use Paintbox Yarns in Washed Teal, Daffodil Yellow, and Bright Peach)
• Edging:
  • Attach yarn in Bright Peach at any point along the sole.
  • Work ss evenly around the sole to create a decorative edge.
• Tassels (optional): Use Bright Peach to create small tassels at the sides of the ankle straps or front straps.
• Step 4: Finishing Touches
• Buttons:
  • Sew a button on each side of the ankle strap.
  • Ensure the button loops fit securely around the buttons.
• Weaving in Ends: Use a yarn needle to weave in any loose ends.
• Final Assembly: Check all stitches and ensure the straps are even and secure.
