Crocheted Jewelry Dishes

Materials Needed & Measurements:

    • 1 cone of Habu’s Copper Bamboo (67% Bamboo, 33% Copper) in Brown.
    • 1 skein of Habu’s Dyed Linen (100% Linen) in Dark Brown.
  • Tools:
    • A size A (2 mm) crochet hook.
    • 5 removable stitch markers or safety pins.
  • Starching Supplies:
    • A heaping teaspoon of cornstarch.
    • A spray bottle for homemade starch solution.
  • Optional: Substitute lace-weight yarn from your collection if necessary.

Measurements:

  • Square Tray: Finished Size: 3¾ inches x 3¾ inches.
  • Rectangle Tray: Finished Size: 3¾ inches x 5½ inches.
  • Bowl: Finished Size: 3¼ inches in diameter.

  • Mix a heaping teaspoon of cornstarch with ¼ cup room-temperature water. Add 1¾ cups of boiling water and stir until smooth. Cool and transfer to a spray bottle.
